Alot of shops are selling them at prices that are way too expensive! I don't mind knock-offs.

it kinda annoys me but i agree with mic_egan94 if youre short on money you could get the knock offs but please at least get one with a cool desing

I REALLY CAN'T AFFORED THE REAL ONES,I HAVE ONE PAIR OF THE REAL THANG,BUT THE REST ARE KNOCKOFFS :(

it only bothers me when the people are like; "oh look at my CHUCK TAYLORS" and therir just air walks. that's annoying cause you don't want to be mean. but yeah, everyone has knock offs, even i do. i only have one real pair to so....

it's just a stupid brand name. what's the difference if they are made by "chuck taylors"? just as long as they are good quality and they look good and you like them.



Edit: Actually I just wanted to note that I don't have a pair of converse yet but I was thinking if I get converse by chuck taylors i'll just cover of the logo with black permanent marker because i don't want to be advertising their brand everywhere i'm wearing them.

Nothing against the "real" shoe, but Jem_ is exactly right. It really makes no difference...if they look and feel good, & are fairly priced and high-quality, then it doesn't matter a bit if they're "knockoffs" or not. How shallow can you be? Every Converse-style sneaker I've seen is awesome regardless of whether or not it's a Chuck Taylor...except for the logo, you can't even tell. I LIKE CT a lot, don't get me wrong. But ultimately having a brand's logo on something means little or nothing to me. I also generally dislike being a walking advertisement, unless it's a company for which I really, REALLY want to show support. So keep wearing your knockoffs, everyone, because I highly doubt anyone out there is ever actually 'annoyed' by it (how absurd) unless you brag or something, and try to claim them to be something they're not.

I would never wear knockoffs ever, I get my Chucks at Ross for around 15-20 bucks which is way better than spending 40+ everywhere else!

There's no way I would support an imitation brand. Not only do fakes like Airwalk look far worse and also cheaper than legit Chucks, but like katealphawolf said, you can get new Chucks for cheap at places like Ross, and also Marshall's and TJ Maxx, which is were I get like all of mine.
I would definitely rather support the original, genuine Converse, not another wannabe. Still, I understand why some people wear knockoffs. I'm simply not one of them!

No Im not snoody like that not everyone is as fortunate as many of the fake woke clowns that wear these shoes. Dont get me wrong I like a clean pair of Chucks. But no longer buy them or any shoes made in china! Not gonna spend my money with a trash company that pushes a fake woke agenda but still manufactures their shoes using Chinese slave labor.
