Our thoughts, what we watch, and what we listen to are all seeds we are sowing in our heart. The type of seeds we sow determine what the fruit of our lives will be. So if God's highest aspirations for me is to restore me into the image of Christ, I want to do everything possible not to hinder His work in my life.
It is the everyday, seemingly "little" decisions that determine the closeness of our relationship with God.
Finally, "whatever is true, whatever is noble whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things." Phil.4:8
If you're asking, it's a good sign you are already sensing something in your spirit. If you are in Christ, His Spirit is in you. God delights in a heart sensitive to Him!
