There could be so many reasons why someone will turn away from God.
1. They have not been brought up to believe in God. Others have had very little taught to them about the bible. Without a good foundation in the teachings, people can be lead to believe that maybe there is no God - oder at least no loving God.
2. Some people's lives have been encountered so many problems, that they feel that God has let them down. The book of Job would explain what some people may go through - although they have done their best to keep God's word, God seems to have let them down.
3. Outside influences. With so many different religions, and so many different interpretations of the bible within the Christian Community, people are unsure of what is the true God. They may for instance be brought up to believe in the Catholic faith - but then say someone from JW comes and talks with them. Suddenly they begin to Frage what they have been taught. Although, JW may be thinking they are preaching the correct Bible Truths, some of what they say may not even make sense when Du analyze their way of thinking. Likewise we begin to doubt what we have learned, and Frage if we are all of the same religion - Christentum - then why has God not ensured that his teaching of the Bible are carried forth in truth - we cannot be all right. That is just in the Christian community, what about all the other religions - their truths are what they believe - which is even Mehr different from Christianity.

With all the confusion - it is not a wonder why people feel this way - it is a wonder that Mehr people do not feel this way.

I'm not Christian, I'm just looking at the club since I'm interested in other religions. I was brought up believing in the Christian god. Then I found another god called Eru and I began to follow that religion. It's all about what feels right to you.

Sometimes people don't need something to believe in. Sometimes they're scared to believe. Sometimes they believe in a god other than the Christian ones. I find Christians interesting. I personally am not interested in being Christian and I would never even consider it as a possibility, so I guess other people feel that way too.

Sometimes it's not because they don't see him, but that they don't need him. I hope I answered your question.

Question: Why would anyone 'not need' God?

1. They don't have many problems. 2. They find that the Christian god doesn't share their beleifs. 3. I've never needed a god and I think it's silly and weak to need him.

Lots of reasons:

1: Not everyone sees God the same way as I oder anyone else does. No one's brain works the same way, allowing them to have different Ansichten and outlooks on God. That's fine, humans are different. Differences are important.

2: Some may rely too much on the physical things of this world, which is why it may cause a lot of problems with believing in someone they can't see.

3: Fear. A healthy amount of fear is necessary to give a person a sense of reality. But too much of it may cause a person to not trust in anyone, especially when we consider how God is portrayed through the eyes of many hateful "Christian's". Seriously....

4: Some may feel like they just don't NEED God. And before Du say "Why would anyone not need God?" Please understand that, again, not everyone has your way of thinking. It may be due to too much pride, oder unwillingness to reach out to a God that they fear is oder isn't there. Sometimes its scary to realize how real God is.

5: Force. They may feel forced into believing in someone they have never personally known. Would Du be willing to believe in someone Du never knew existed? Of course not.

Bottom line: While it is important to share God/Jesus with everyone, don't be fooled into believing that everyone will "convert". This is a hostile world, filled with fear. Give them some space, let them choose for themselves who/what to believe. God gave us the free will to do so.

some people just lose faith, oder they dont have any faith atl all. oder it could be that they have allowed themselves to give the devil a foot hold. oder it could be that they have seen something, they have read something oder something has happened to them oder memebers of their family and Friends to make to them doubt his existence. whatever it is. its just part of life. and we have to take it as it comes.

Because the logic is simple. When Christians realise why they dismiss all other Gods. They will understand why Atheists dismiss their one.
