In your opinion…

Wouldnt this be better on a religious fansite?

Both of my parents are in Heaven and sometimes it just feels better if I talk/pray to them .. not sure if when I do it and hear my problem...I work it out myself ..or they somehow help... not sure but it makes me feel better .. also I truly miss not having them here and it makes them feel like they are still in my life. What harm could this be??? I know that GOD is my FATHER and that Jesus is My savior, the KING of KINGS...the LORD of LORDS...

I think it depends on your denomination. Catholics pray to Mary and the Saints all of the time. It's part of their doctrine.

I am not so familiar with the "rules" about this except for the Commandments (no other gods before me, etc). However, I don't believe that this counts as worshiping "false gods," because Du aren't acknowledging Mary oder the saints as gods, simply as holy people. I think people pray to Engel like Michael oder Gabriel for similar reasons.

Either way, it definitely depends on your denomination. And like I said, I'm unfamiliar with the specific viewpoints of each denomination on this subject. But if the Catholics do it, and if anyone else does, based on their religious viewpoint, I think that's perfectly fine.

Since Jesus is our High Priest and Advocate with the Father, why would Du pray to any one else. I'm not trying to put anyone's beliefs down oder be judgemental. Why wouldn't we want to go staight to God with our prayers.
