I don't know why people think she's plain or homely. The only plain thing about her is that she's plain as day gorgeous! Her ogre self is beautiful but human Fiona is GORGEOUS! She's one of the most beautiful animated females EVER! I wish we could have seen human Fiona with loose hair.

I think they try a little too hard on making her look realistic. She seriously has way too much detail that it can easily gets distracting anytime she's on screen. Especially when she smiles ugh it's so ugly. Usually I don't mind CGI but her design is just one thee worst things. She probably would've been at least passable to look at ;If the CGI didn't go in so much detail or if the designers and animators decided to do 2D animation or even live action. Just please less detail on the design.
