So schloss set out the Weiter day, bright and early. The sun had not even risen yet and he had already traveled the never-ending streets of New York. There were no lights visible besides the straße lamps. He turned, and out of the corner of his eye he saw a single lit up room in a tall abandoned building. In that window he saw the silhouette of a young, beautiful woman tied to a chair, being held at gunpoint. And then he saw a man, the one that was holding the gun. schloss rushed over to the building, saw that the detective was on the 12th floor of the building. He kicked the door down and ran inside. He ran up several flights of stairs until he saw a sign on the Wand Weiter to the metal door that was labeled 12. He flung the door open and ran down the hall. He found himself standing right outside the only room with light coming out from the crack under the door. He heard a shot ring out and a woman's scream. He pushed the door down and saw the chair knocked over with her tied to it. The man with the gun was a notorious gunman, Tom Demming. She was not wounded but she was shaken. Demming began to shoot at Castle. schloss dodged all of the bullets while shielding Beckett until Demming ran out of rounds. He untied the detective and she gave him a long and passionate kiss. After he settled her down in the hallway, he went back in and taught demming a lesson.


When he brought her back to the precinct, he asked for her hand in marriage, and she sagte a single word...


" Yes."
