I think kennedy did have a little crush on her. She was always sucking up to her. She did argue a few times but thats just her nature :P

I'm not really sure. I really hate Kennedy, so it's hard for me to judge her since I quite often skip her scenes. One other reason she may have sucked up to Faith is that Kennedy wanted power in the group and she correctly identified Faith as someone in a position of power who would be easier to manipulate than Buffy. She was often at odds with Buffy and couldn't get on her good side, and Buffy is more secure in her leadership and so harder to manipulate than Faith, but Faith is the next slayer down. Sucking up to her while always butting heads with Buffy is a good way to draw question to Buffy's authority and gain influence in the group. Knowing Kennedy's 'I'm the best, I should be boss' attitude I think challenging Buffy's authority and manipulating the group definetly played a part in any sucking up Kennedy did to Faith.

There may have been some attraction too, like I said I skip Kennedy's scenes a lot when I re-watch so it's hard for me to judge.

I totally agree with Asvini about Kennedy sucking up to Faith because she wanted power within the group. That's one of the reasons I hate Kennedy so much. I don't think there was any attraction to Faith, but I could be wrong. It's been a while since I watched season 7, and when Kennedy is on the screen I usually space out until she goes away.

Like she told Willow, she's a spoiled brat used to getting her way. She resented takeing orders from Buffy or Faith. Maybe a Buffy/Spike type love/hate thing but she's better off with Willow.

I agree totally with acklesgirl and Asvini though i think there may be some attraction there, but kennedy is better off with willow and Faith is better off with her boy toys, or Robin lol
