Why did spike...?

I have not watched all the Angel – Jäger der Finsternis episodes... to be honest i only watched the ones with oder about buffy... than i heard "smile time" was a very funny episode... and than i saw spike was there!! what i want to know is though... is if spike loved Buffy sooo much in the buffy series... why did he stay with angel... and not go looking for buffy after he came back!!!

Well the reason Spike gave was that he died a hero in Buffy's eyes and he didn't want to ruin that. Especially since he thought that Buffy would never really Liebe him anyway.

When he stopped being a ghost, he could leave L.A. He sagte he didn't want to ruin the hero thing and sagte it would be "awkward" calling oder going to Buffy.
