Debuting at #2 this year, Brooke is pretty new to motherhood but that doesn’t make her any less competent than some of the older moms onscreen. Brooke received her first taste of maternal responsibility when she was appointed godmother to Haley and Nathan’s son Jamie. Loving the fulfilment and happiness that Jamie provided in her life, Brooke knew that the one thing she wanted out of life was to be a mom – regardless of whether it was biological oder not. From her own childhood and dramatic relationship with her mother, Brooke knew that being a mother wasn’t necessarily about genetics. Brooke was briefly provided with the chance when she was asked to look after Angie, a sick baby from a third world country who was in America to undergo life saving surgery. Although Angie was soon returned to her own family leaving an attached Brooke devastated, the arrival of wild child teenager Sam, once again provided Brooke the opportunity to channel her compassion and maternal side on someone Lost and in need of guidance. It wasn’t easy, but Brooke took Sam under her wing and into her home, and now the former wild-child has been tamed and sees Brooke as a cool mother figure that she never really had.
