I know many people who didn't see it coming... when you read Jacob's book in Breaking Dawn there are things that don't make sense until he imprints and then you're like "OMG, that was it!"

I love that he imprints. It makes total sense and it's adorable. Stephenie had planned for Jacob to imprint on her even before she finished New Moon, so she didn't FORCE anything! It's all part of the big picture!
