Mulan was my first ever movie to see ever and is one of my favorite Disney princesses. She rocks! So far, she's the best, and I'll be honest, it'll be hard for Merida to compete with her.

well obviously i'd need to see the movie to form a proper opinion but i have a feeling she won't beat Mulan

I Pick Merida

Well, I guess it's slightly easier than the Ariel vs. Mulan question. I LOVE Mulan--always have and always will, but I've gotta go with my Merida, no doubt about it. Also...while you can certainly draw comparisons between these two movies and characters, and though Merida would have been a good candidate for the army (you KNOW she would've taken her dad's place if necessary!)...imagine what the most tragic scene from that movie would be! That's right; the hair-chopping! (Same if she were in Rapunzel's place. ;P)

Mulan may be brave and stuff, but she still has the cliché marry a handsome guy ( I actually think Shang is ugly), whereas Merida is the only princess not to get married.

I like Merida. The beautiful, brave, tough Scottish princess.

Merida is the best! I am practically IDENTICAL to her in every way possible (including the mom), too, so that kinda affected my vote. lol

I like Mulan but I kinda wish she was more flawed. I love that Merida completely screws up and how her adventure revolves around how she deals with it.
