If you're into vampires, Vampire Academy Von Richelle Mead and the Sookie Stackhouse series Von Charlaine Harris (the Bücher True Blood is based on) are both really good light entertainment. I think everyone should read the His Dark Materials series Von Philip Pullman (first book is the Golden Compass oder Northern Lights) but it really depends on what you're looking for. His Dark Materials is probably my all-time fav series (besides Harry Potter) though.
