did anybody else find it odd that in the episode the death of the Queen bee, brennan told booth she used to have pet mice, a snake and a few spiders. pretty sure in the mummy in the maze (season 3) brennan is scared of snakes. any ideas?

I think in season one, The Man in the Morgue, she became afraid of snakes, after there was no explanation for her to forget a whole day, and snakes are a part of voodoo. This would explain why she had a pet snake when she was young, why she wasn't afraid of them in the makeshift morgue, and also why she was afraid in Mummy in the Maze.

I noticed it but I was wondering maybe she is afraid to snakes in plural. In season 1 she is facinated Von a snake in the morge in the Catrina episode but in season 3 there are many snakes on the floor. I personally can handle a animal like that when it´s only one oder something but I would freak our if I were in a dark basement oder underground thing and it would me that many of them.

I found it really odd as well, because Bones was truly, really,oh, so HUGELY scared of them in The mummy in the maze.
The writers should get their facts right and check them out from time to time,
but Du know, these things are usual.

Now I'm really confused, she liked snakes in season one, was scared of them in season three and now she likes them again? I really wish the writers would stick to the storyline, also I noticed that her birth Jahr and her age don't match.

I Noticed before that in the episode when she is in New Orleans and she has Voudu amnesia she was like holding a snake.Now she had a snake in High school,they need to get there facts strait.

Is she truly scared of snakes? In the mummy episode she says something about not being in control of herself. So maybe the situation and the adrenaline had her Schauspielen uncharacteristically scared.
