I sat their in my room staring outside the window with wet eyes from the forever falling tears. The tears pour out of my eyes, one Von one, and slipped down my cheek to land on my black skinny jeans. I remembered how 2 years Vor on that day, I had woken up carefree, happy, and, overall, free. This morning I had woken up depressed and frightened out of my wits. But yet, I woke up determined as I always had.

Years Vor I had always wearing bright Farben with my hair pulled back into a pony-tail. But lately things had been changing drastically. My black-brown hair hung in front of my face to hide my scared eyes. My eyes seemed to have even gotten darker. I never wore bright Farben anymore. I always wore a black t-shirt and my black skinny jeans. My life was anything but free nowadays....

I wasn't quite sure what happened but everything had changed so fast. Lately, My parents had been treating me like dirt with no rights. I was determined to prove my independence to them though. I would win my freedom through either respect oder defiance. It was too hard to tell what would happen.

One thing I know for sure is my parents never approved of how I dressed in all black and how I responded, which was normally with lots of sarcasm. I swear, They would do anything to find something wrong with me

I lived the tropical part of the USA,in South Carolina where topical storms and tornados were nothing new. Storms occured often and confusion was so normal it was insane! Though the South was truly a magical place.

Nomatter how much my parents refused to let me go to the Filme oder hang out with friends, I always had my alone time. Most the time, I sat in my room and listened to rock bands like AC/DC and Areosmith. I would sing along happily to Dream On Von Areosmith and try to pretend nothing was wrong.

Now, the people of Southern United States arnt like anyone else. The southern folks have their own customs, traditions, and ways of living. I had only lived in South Carolina for a few months but Du catch on to Southern things.

First off, Southern folks dont really give a shit who Du are and what Du think of 'em. They only ask for some manners and a tad of respect. Dont ever offend a Southern person of you'll be regretting it real soon. People around there are truly one of a kind. They eat what they want and do what they want. They buy what they want and say what they please. They are who they are and thats that.

Down there, little boys walked across the straße wearing no shoes and overalls with fishing poles on their backs on their way to the dock to go catch their family dinner. Ladies would sit outside on their porches wearing sundresses while drinking Ice tee oder Lemonade. Men went out and fished oder did their jobs. And abendessen was the time everyone stopped what they were doing to sit down, pray, eat, enjoy some quality time.

My family was not like that but we'll get to that later....
