7 Things Belle Taught Us About Style 

, Belle instantly became one of our favorite heroines. She’s smart, selfless, and always stays true to herself. Through her adventures, we learned to not judge a book by its cover, and to always see the best in others. Belle is truly one-of-a-kind, and her style is too.

Of course, we know that Belle isn’t concerned by appearances, resulting in her nonchalant and simply elegant style that everyone, including famous fashionistas, is fond of. Here are just a few of the style and life lessons that Belle taught us:

In a sea of neutral shades, wear blue or whatever color speaks to you.

Far-off places, daring sword fights, magic spells, a prince in disguise… we could get lost in a good book like Belle any day.

When in doubt, match your bow to your dress.

We don’t care what a certain superhero fashion designer may say. Capes are a stylish alternative to jackets and we adore them, just like Belle.

When an enchanted wardrobe wants to pick your outfit for you, listen.

She really knows which dress you’ll look ravishing in.

If you have a formal event, choose the elbow length gloves.

Elbow length gloves are always a classy, great decision.

And always remember that beauty is found within.

It really doesn’t matter what you wear on the outside, but who you are on the inside.
