Moments later, Lumina and Kuda sat miserably on the floor of the dungeon. The bars across the cell looked like teeth in a giant shark’s mouth. There was no way to escape. Caligo’s aal, ge. cronies—Murray, Garth, and Wormwood—guarded them.
“If Du ask me,” grumbled Kuda, “the only thing eels are good for is sushi.”
Garth leaned in and growled at them. Grrrr.
Kuda cowered behind Lumina.
