5. Her Zuko impression
I honestly can't quite say why I Liebe this so much. Honestly I think this episode as a whole was good for Azula. This is when she finally makes the big reveal to Aang that she's Zuko's sister. And she doesn't do it in this cliche, typical, 'I am your father' kind of way. She does it in this 'yup I'm totally the younger sibling' way. And I Liebe it, it's hilarious. It's unique to her. And it was very good for characterization.
4. Her "I'm a pretty good liar" speech
Again I Liebe this because it was just so witty and funny. "I am a 400 foot tall purple platypus bär with rosa horns and silver wings." It's like how does one come up with something like that on the spot. Again it was a really good character defining moment. In one line she was able to portray her ability to manipulate and to lie really well.
3. The hallucination
This moment was literally and figuratively crazy cool. I think this moment was just heartbreaking and emotional and for that I loved it. This scene just added so much to her character. Du can tell just how broken inside she truly was. That she wasn't as perfect as she had made herself out to be. That she wasn't as heartless as she seemed. That she wasn't pure evil. She just needs someone to hold her close and tell her that they care. During this scene I wanted so much to be able to go into the Zeigen and hug my poor baby. This scene added so much depth to her character. It was honestly one of the best in the series.
2.The entire strand episode
Much like the above, this episode really added complexity to Azula. She was just so cute and socially awkward. And it really did help reveal her Mehr human side. Watching her interact with peoples of the same age was very interesting. That volleyball game though. It was hilarious how she took it so seriously...I'd totally do the same. And then she shows up to the party like an Stunde early. And when she gets there the first thing she does is try to compliment Chan. Her flirting attempts were so adorable though. "That's a sharp outfit, Chan…careful, Du could puncture the hull of an Empire-Class feuer Nation Battleship, leaving thousands to drown at sea...because it's so sharp" is hands down my Sekunde Favorit quote from the show. And then when she sets the drink down on that girl's head! OMG I was dying. She put her drink on someone's head!!! And let's not forget her adorable laugh when she was talking to Chan on the balcony--not a hint of menace in that laugh. And of course that deep moment when she talked about her mother. Once again, it showed that she wasn't as happy as she let on. I think her mother's lack of care hurt her Mehr than she ever let on. Overall, that was an amazing episode.
1. "Lo You're banished Li Du can stay"
Not even kidding, this is my Favorit thing that Azula sagte ever. I mean she confused the two old ladies. In general I like the banishing scenes. I like it because of the paranoia aspect. I know exactly how that feels. To feel so unsafe that Du can't sleep. That whole thing just spoke to me so much and I could relate to it...though I've never banished anyone. Plus afterwards it was rather interesting to watch her try to do her hair. The poor girl was so used to having people do it for her that she had trouble doing it herself. But insgesamt the Lo & Li thing was just a fun scene to watch.
