ep 10 synopsis 

Morgana leads a terrifying manhunt in pursuit her old foe Alator of the Catha (Gary Lewis), for she knows without doubt that he can tell her exactly where to find Emrys.

Merlin’s life has never been in more danger, so when the mysterious Finna (Sorcha Cusack) offers to help him, is he right to trust her? Or will he find himself cornered with nowhere to run?

Colin Morgan is Merlin, Bradley James is Arthur, Angel Coulby is Gwen, Katie McGrath is Morgana, Richard Wilson is Gaius and John Hurt is the voice of the Great Dragon. Tom Hopper, Rupert Young, and Eoin Macken return as The Knights of the Round Table.

But how will he help with the enchantment?

Alator in 9 AND 10! Betcha Morgs wants revenge on him for helping to restore Gwen to herself. He took away her toy, and now she wants vengeance.

He helps end the enchantment in 9, Shu. At least that's what we hear.

Ohh ... so he will be in two episodes? Great ... i like him. And i really hope he does some serious damage on Morgana. Kinda getting tired of her ... thanks for letting me know Kim.

But why should Merlin hide and be in danger? Merlin has to man up and become the great warlock. Stop hiding and face Morgana!

Agreed Joppa! They are making Merlin look a little bit like a coward. I don't like that.

Oh good to hear. Alator will return after he helps Merlin. Don't we all want to see Merlin show himself to be the great warlock. Somebody's got to do something with Morgana and definitely it needs to be him.

Merlin and Alator must have taken Morgana down BIG TIME in 5 x 09 (serves her right) and freed Gwen; and it leads up to her becoming the Five Kingdoms' Most Wanted. The Empires are deciding to strike back at the High Priestess. Morgana still has some supporters so they are hiding her out and helping her find Alator. As far as Morgana's allies are, Alator is a traitor and Emyrs will be the death of them all.

Well I'm confused because Alator has yet to be on the cast list for 5x09 but I guess they may add him soon.

^I don't think they change the cast list on the BBC's website, ella. It's always just the recurring cast that they list. Spoilertv usually includes the guest stars on the cast list so we'll know for sure if he's in 5x09 when they do a preview of the episode.

Okay so it's just speculation that he may be in 5.09.

The synopsis for that episode says that Merlin will look for someone to help Gwen so people are guessing that it'll be him. But yes, right now, it's just speculation. It'd be nice if he was in both episodes though. 5x09 would be a good episode to reintroduce him.

Agreed! Alator was great last series and I would love to see him in two episodes.
