    “Dinner!” Guinevere calls from the doorway of the modest house the three of them have been sharing for this last Monat and a half.
    Arthur and Merlin lift their heads, grateful to be able to come in out of the sun. The cool breeze drifting from the sea helps cool their skin, but the sun is relentless.     Arthur lifts Guinevere in his arms, carrying her over to the bed, his eyes locked on hers the entire time. He sets her down gently on the mattress, Küssen her softly as he leans over her. He removes his boots and sits at her feet, gently removing her shoes and dropping them behind him, over his shoulder. He lifts one foot in his hand and kisses her toes, making her giggle softly. What if it transpires that Gwen's mother was a noblewoman. I don't think I've heard her mention why her mother is not around. Okay, my theory is as follows:

Her mother was a Lady at Court of noble blood, who had a liaison with Tom the blacksmith, this man with the tanned skin who she fell in Liebe with on sight. She would secretly watch him work, toiling at his forge, making shoes for the horses. He made her a ring of pure silver, hammered it and shaped it in the blazing fires, his sweat enshrined in the silver.
