Okay, so Du all don't come after me with torches and pitchforks now that I've finished "Fire," I have a new giftie for Du all. This first bit was inspired Von the coronation kiss.

“This crown is heavy,” Guinevere whispers into Arthur’s ear. The coronation feast is in full swing, schaukel and with everyone eating they have some time to talk to one another relatively uninterrupted.
Arthur chuckles, telling her, “Yes, in Mehr ways than one sometimes.” Then he kisses her earlobe lightly before straightening back up. The light caress of his lips makes her skin tingle.
She looks at him, up at his crown, then back at him, a smirk on her face.
    “What?” he asks.
“My crown is prettier,” she smiles.
“Well of course it is. A king shouldn’t have a pretty crown.”
    “Mmm,” she nods noncommittally.
“You have to admit, I would look pretty silly wearing your crown.”
“True,” she laughs, reaching for her goblet.
Arthur seems Lost in thought for a few moments as he silently eats his food. He is staring off into space, deep in thought. oder memory.
“You all right, Arthur?” Merlin has come to refill his goblet.
“Hmm? Oh. Yes, Merlin, fine, thanks,” Arthur says. Merlin notices a slight flush in the king’s cheeks, and suddenly he is very curious about what had distracted Arthur. But perhaps I don’t want to know, he thinks.
Arthur looks over at his wife. His queen. She is radiant. More beautiful each time I see her, he thinks. And now that I know what I’ve been missing out on all this time… He allows the thought to go unfinished and shifts uncomfortably in his chair.
    “Guinevere,” he turns to her.
    “Yes, Husband?” she smiles.
God, I Liebe the sound of that. “Don’t think I didn’t notice that… look Du gave me at the end of the coronation.”
She feigns innocence. “What look would that be, Sire?”
He leans in close, muttering in her ear, “The look that made me want to rip your dress off and have Du in front of the entire kingdom.”
She looks at him levelly. “Well, you were the one that decided to KISS me. I don’t think that’s standard protocol for a coronation.”
“I was winging it,” he shrugs. “And I couldn’t help myself. The Minute Du knelt in front of me…”
    “What?” she asks, curious.
“Let’s just say that I had trouble keeping my eyes where they should be.”
    “So it’s my fault?”
“Well, clearly.” He grins at her, and his eyes drop to her cleavage again, making his point for him.
She glares at him with mock severity. He leans over and kisses her again.
“I’ll deal with Du later, my delicious king,” she whispers into his lips, eyes opening slowly.
“That would be the look,” Arthur groans and adjusts his position in his sitz again. Merlin returns, with a goblet full of very cold water. He places it in front of the king, whispering, “Thought Du might need something, um, cold, right now,” before hastily disappearing.
Did he just… No, he wouldn’t be that brash. Would he? Nevertheless, Arthur picks up the goblet and downs the entire thing quickly, fighting the urge to just pour the contents into his lap. He puts the heel of his hand to his forehead for a moment, pain surging through his head. How did he get that so cold?
“Arthur?” Gwen asks, noting his strange behavior.
The pain passes as quickly as it came, and he says, “Hmm? Oh, I’m fine. Just drank that too fast, I think.” At least it distracted me from thinking about… well, that didn’t last long.
    “Wine?”
“Water. It was really cold, and it hurt my head,” he explains.
She gives him a puzzled look, but a courtier approaching to pay his respects to the new Queen diverts her attention. She speaks politely with him for a moment before he leaves, bowing to them both.
“I have to say, serving at a feast is much Mehr interesting than dining at one,” she says to Arthur once they are alone again.
    “How so?” he is intrigued.
“Oh, Du have no idea how much fun we – I mean, the servants – have when they’re not within earshot of a noble.”
“Oh really?” Arthur looks as though be may get offended, and Gwen diffuses him immediately.
“Nothing bad oder immoral oder disloyal, I promise. Just a little… naughty. A lot of gossip, that kind of thing. A lot of poking fun at the nobility. How much this one is eating, how much that one has had to drink, who pinched who’s backside, which Lord is dallying with what Lady under the table…”
    “Guinevere!” Arthur laughs, taken aback.
“Oh, Arthur, really, what did Du expect? That we were back there concentrating on our jobs, slaving away like drone bees? Servants are people, just like everyone else,” she reminds him, her voice just a tiny bit reproachful.
“I guess I still sometimes forget that,” he says, twisting his mouth to the side thoughtfully, a little embarrassed.
“And Du will do nothing at all about it, either,” she informs him. “It’s the only fun some of them get, and no harm is being done, so leave it be.”
“I wasn’t going to do anything,” he says, knowing better than to argue. “Honest.”
She leans over and kisses him, quickly running her tongue along his lips before pulling away, leaving him just slightly dazed.
“How long till this feast is done?” he asks her, and she chuckles as she lifts her goblet to her lips.
An approaching lord, wishing for a few words, diverts Arthur’s attention from his wife. Lord Owen, not one of Guinevere’s Favorit lords. Neither is he one of Arthur’s.
She quietly surveys the room, taking a sip of her wine. Her eyes pass over the faces of servants she calls friends, courtiers, and Arthur’s closest knights. She avoids her brother’s face. She is still angry with him.
Her quiet moment to herself is interrupted Von the voice of Nagging Guilt, her nemesis since the betrayal. He lives in the deepest, darkest recesses of her brain and he likes to come out when Gwen’s mind is not otherwise occupied.
You don’t deserve any of this, he says.
Be quiet. I know I don’t. But Arthur has forgiven me. So go away.
    Forgiveness is not approval.
The Guilt is using her own father’s words against her. She heard him say those very words to Elyan, many years ago, the first time he found himself in major trouble. He destroyed some property during a night of drunken revelry with some of his “friends.”
I can forgive you, son, but know this: Forgiveness is not approval. Never forget that, he had said.
“Guinevere?” Arthur’s voice drifts into her consciousness, and her clouded face brightens.
“Yes, my lord?” she turns to him.
“Are Du all right? Du looked… troubled for a moment. And don’t call me that,” he smiles lovingly at her.
She smiles and looks down, blushing slightly at being caught at old habits. “Sorry. I know Du hate that.”
“I don’t mind ‘My lord’ half as much as ‘Sire.’ Especially from you. Even before we were married I hated when Du called me that.” He lifts her hand to his lips, Küssen her knuckles. Then he turns her hand and kisses her palm, his lips on the sensitive skin there lighting a feuer in her belly, and she gasps just slightly, lips parting. Arthur sees this and it brings an impish smile to his face.

-Anticipation-

Gwen slowly wakes, shifting in her sleep, finding, not surprisingly, that she is still in the kreis of Arthur’s arms. He had apparently allowed her to turn in her sleep at least once, as her back is now to him and he is spooned up tightly behind her.
She blinks her eyes open and surveys the room and her mind. Regrets? None. Shame? None at all. The faint pinkish glow tells her that it is very early morning and the sun has just woken as well.
Closing her eyes, she realizes she hasn’t been this...

Arthur actually laughs, relieved. Her hoarse voice like Musik to his ears. And it would be like her to immediately be concerned about someone other than herself. About me.
He leans vorwärts-, nach vorn to KISS her, touching her face, and she recoils. He stops.
“No,” she snaps, and Arthur notices she is trembling slightly.
“Guinevere?” he asks, blinking in confusion.
“Please… don’t,” she says, shrinking from him. Why am I repulsed at his touch? This is Arthur,...

Now, I am not being offensive, oder defensive, oder any other 'ive', I am however, pointing the collective in the correct direction. I actually know, INTIMATELY of what I speak. Since a picture paints a thousand words, I give you, Gabriel Aubry and Nahla Berry Aubry. Now, those names may not be familiar to you, but he meets a certain criteria and his ex meets the other criteria...enough said.

I'm just tired of people getting it INCREDIBLY WRONG. Yes, her mother is that fine assed woman, Halle Berry and her ex is one of the world's best paid super models. That part is irrelevant, their offspring on the other hand IS RELEVANT.

Why am I sharing this shot? Cause I am tired of shaking my head.

Camelot's Greatest Strength

"Guin-e-vere, how much longer are Du going to be?" Though muffled through the thick wooden door, the King's mood was evident, as always, in the way he sagte her name. "We were to have begun training nearly an Stunde ago."

"I'm almost done. Just wait for...

I blogged this on tumblr and I figured that it would make sense to post this here :)

It’s always a suprise when people say that Arwen are overrated. They may be the beliebt couple of Merlin, but this is not because they are the main couple of the Zeigen [even though they are]. It’s what surrounds them- their chemistry, their story-line, their tension on screen. Arwen are beautiful…they are legendary…they are epic.

Where I started shipping them on Merlin proves that my Liebe for them is not because they are a main couple: I began shipping Arwen when they were not even a couple. When they...

So Du all basically encouraged me to post this, so here it is. It's an AU Arthur/Gwen and is actually not super exciting. I leave it with an open ending... Hehe, I hope Du guys like it. Oh and there might be typos and if so, sorry about them.

It was late. The Stunde of midnight chimed and the eerie krähe of the blackness seemed to seep into the pores of the small cottage- taking all light away. The night was cloudy and the moon invisible causing a feel of dread to creep up the single, individual figure in the cottage’s spine. She was half covered Von the mantel of night, but she managed to light...

Chapter Two

Arthur and Gwen’s journey back to their chambers are quiet. While the conversation she had earlier in the night between the two ladies troubles Gwen, Arthur is not sure how to broach what he accidently overheard between his wife and servant friend.

His wife a topic of such nasty and malicious gossip, Arthur has half a mind to approach the ladies besmirching her. He knows though that it would do nothing to quell their gossip, and also he understands his wife well. She would not welcome any attempts of defense.

Finally arriving at their shared chambers, Arthur opens the door...

Apocalypse

Prompt: Staying in bett instead of going to work on a cold December morning

“Come on come on come on…” Arthur prompts in the doorway, a mantra to the small fluffy dog sniffing around in the frigid air. He dances on his bare toes, knowing that as soon as he turns away oder decides to close the main door, she’ll be back and scratching. oder worse, barking, which will make the neighbors kreuz at this early hour.

“Finally,” he breathes, opening the glass storm door just enough to allow his number one Fan and devotee, Jingle the corgi, back into the house. “Took Du long...

I wrote this prior to 5x12. I have since altered the beginning to match the actual events at the end of 5x13.

“The king is dead,” Sir Leon’s stalwart voice addresses the crowd, “long live the queen!”
    “Long live the queen.”
    “Long live the queen.”
Those assembled repeat the words, but there is an underlying sadness in them. Camelot is in mourning for their beloved young king.
Guinevere sits on her throne, Arthur’s empty sitz beside her.

So there is only one episode left before Merlin ends for good. And I'm both excited and sad to see it end. Excited because whole it seems that this episode will be sad, maybe there will be some light at the end of the tunnel. Yes, I will always try to find something positive in anything. That is the way I am.

Yet I'm sad because I'll miss seeing Arthur and Gwen on our screens. Angel – Jäger der Finsternis and Bradley truly have one of the best on screen chemistry I have ever seen. They have truly made Arwen work after the crappy treatment from the producers. Really, the whole cast deserved better.

And while its sad...
