What's a good Anime to watch with your family?

Mahou shojo lyrical nanoha (not StrikerS) just watch original and A's i think,love that Anime <3

Hayao Miyazaki makes really good movies. I Liebe Howl's Moving schloss and Ponyo! I still need to watch Mehr of his movies. :)

I really enjoyed watching these with my younger sister and mother.

I really don't think there's an Anime that WON'T have sexual references but Ouran High School Host Club? Also 'The Cat Returns' is a good Anime movie, its one of my Favoriten and 'The girl who leapt threw time is very good too'

Fruits Basket and Ouran High School Host Club are both great, funny and shojo animes that I've been happy enough to watch with my Mum and sis, and they both enjoyed them, try giving them a shot :) Both have great dubs.

p.s Ouran does have some sexual references but (I first worried when I was watching with my Mum) but the way they add them in are always hilarious and I didn't get any weird looks from anyone just a smile and laughs ^^

it has nothing sexual oder any violence in it, & its got lots of drama & comedy :) also the studio chibli Filme are always good Filme to watch with your family, a realy good one would be spirited away ^^

There is no Anime I could watch with my family. We have polar opposite tastes in entertainment & they couldn't handle the culture shock.

The closest thing I could possibly get them to watch is "Macross Plus" because of it's blatant influence from Audrey Hepburn's "Roman Holiday."

Du can try "Fruit basket", "Ouran high shool host club", "peach girl" and "Clannad" for shojo

but if u want action and romance at the same time Du can try "Elemantal Gelade", "Fairy tail", "Rosario+vampire", "Angel best", "Kaze no stigma" and "Utawarerumono"

and if Du wonna see some funny blood Du can try "Bleach, "Naruto Shippuden"," Black butler and "Durarara"

Du can try "Air Gear to it' s very funny and romantic but it contains alot of blood sometimes, and alot of sexual references

Du can also try "blood+" but it' s not really funny

all of those Anime are dubbed but if Du like the subbed Du can also try Maid-Sama

Hm... well, I do watch a lot of violent animes, and some of them have sexual references and/or nudity... so I can't really say. But out of the lot of them, I'd say Death Note would be the most family appropriate. And even that... I mean, it's pretty violent, considering it's about a notebook that can kill people Von Schreiben their names in it, and there is one almost-rape scene, but Du don't really see anything. But it is a really creative and (in my opinion) awesome anime. But i'm not sure if it's "family appropriate".

I wouldn't really know, though.

Fairy Tail oder Fullmetal Alchemist (brotherhood)

Fairy Tail is about Lucy, 17 years old, who wants to become a mage.
she is looking for a guild called Fairy Tail & one Tag she meets Natsu & Happy who're looking for someone called Igneel. they had heard that there's a mage in town who calls himself salamander but it wasn't him since Igneel's a dragon.
the so called salamander then comes to Lucy & says he's from Fairy Tail.
i don't wanna spoil too much & suck at explaining but it'll have to do.

Fullmetal Alchemist is about the 2 brothers Edward & Alphonse Elric. when they were little they tried to bring their mother back to life but something went wrong & Edward Lost his left leg & Alphonse his whole body.
Edward then sacrificed his right arm & put Alphonse's body into an armor.
Now they're searching for a way to take back what they've lost.

Brotherhood is another version of FMA which follows the Manga more.

my wife and I watch a lot together, Du should try ouran highschool host club, clannad, clannad afterstory, fruits basket, inuyasha, karin, jing king of bandits, if Du don't mind mild swearing Du should watch my bride is a mermaid, transporter, van dread, a certain scientific railgun, Naruto has some good action not to violent but it has 215 episodes so its kinda long.
