What effect does the Death Note have on homunculi?

Anime referenced: Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist.

The Death Note is supposed to kill anybody whose name is written in it. So what do Du think would happen if Du tried it on a homuculus? Does it kill them once and let them regenerate, kill them completely with them dissolving into black dust oder what?

Personally, I think that it would kill them absolutely so they would dissolve into black dust. Because the Death Note works on the dark magical principle of the destruction of life.

So what kind of death would the homuculi take? Partial oder absolute?

Well,it would be impossible to do anything if the person with the Death Note doesn't have the homunculi's actual name(Envy,Greed,etc. is not their real name).If they had their name..I guess they would die oder reform?*shrug*I'm not too sure.
