Angela a fallen Angel – Jäger der Finsternis had killed Ciel's parents. She despises Sebastian. But in the end, Sebastian ended up killing Angela but Ciel pretty much died after that. (Don't worry, he will come back to life in Season 2!)

Ikuto's mom, Souko, never married Kazuomi. She never turned in the marriage registration papers and was able to trick everyone into believing that she got married to Kazuomi. The truth is that she has been married to Aruto the whole time and never betrayed him. This was confirmed in chapter 43.

I'd say Kakashi Hatake had a pretty rough childhood. His parents died when he was like six...then he got on a ninja team. He became Friends with Obito, whom he disliked before. Minuten later...Obito died and then later on...his other comrade died and then his sensei... It was so sad.. D:
^Her mom Roza is pretty much crazy. She does care for her daughter Maria, but she blames her for pretty much everything. Like her failures with men. Plus she loses control of her emotions alot and ends up reacting violently to Maria's 'childish' behavior.
Anri Sonohara from Durarara!! In her childhood,she use to live happily. But,after her father failed at work,her father started torturing her mother and her. In the end,she killed both of her parents Von using a blade that was originally her father's. The blade's name is called Saika. Since then,she promised to not Liebe anybody ever again. I actually felt a little sad when watching the flashback of her past.

He adopted the name Alois Trancy and plotted to torture Sebastian Michaelis and kill Ciel Phantomhive. He trusted his demon butler, Claude Faustus, and only wanted to win his love. At the end, Claude kills him, traps his soul, and tries to get Ciel Phantomhive. Claude twines Alois' and Ciel's souls together and at the very end, Alois found peace.
Gilbert Nightray from Pandora Hearts. In his past life his mother sold him and his brother who I ill not name to a circus. Then he lived out on the streets for a while with his brother. And then a guy named Glen tried to use his body as his own at one point but he was saved. Later on after coming from the abyss he went 3 days without Essen oder water because he slaped Oz's basturd of a dad. He watched his young master get cast down to a prison called the abyss for no reason. And finally he kept on running away from his adopted parents making him homeless for a little bit until Break finally talked him into staying there. Oh he also got slashed across the chest.
Well,I think Alphonse also had a rough childhood.His mother died when he was young,him and ed tried to use Human Transmutation to bring her back,making him lose his body.Hell,he was still a kid whenever he was fighting homunculi for the philosopher's stone..And even watched his brother die.:/

Tomoya Okazaki His mom died in a car accident and when he was in Junior High, his dad and him got in a fight. After that, he couldn't raise his shoulder, so he couldn't play basketball. Tomoya and his dad barely spoke to eachother so all he had was his little amount of friends.

ahahahaahaha Wouldn't that be like, majority of all the main Anime characters? lol Such as Edward from FMA, oder Lucy from Elfen Lied, oder Ritsuka from Loveless, oder Lelouch and Nunnally from Code Geass, oder Tohru from Fruba...etc, etc...
Zuko had an outrageously challenging life. His own father challenged him to an Agni Kai and severly burned Zuko's face. His father burned him with feuer and with heated words, he said, "Azula was born lucky, Zuko was lucky to be born". Then, Zuko is away to find the Avatar to "regain his honor", but really Zuko's father, Ozai, never expected he'd find him and if he did Ozai didn't plan to change his perspective of his son.
I think Yuri has the saddest past cause when the robber came into her house she tried to protect her younger siblings but fail and her past is very sad but Iwasawa and Yui and the other SSS members past are sad to :(
i think almost every character from Angel – Jäger der Finsternis beats had a hard childhood(especially since they all died early)......whenevr i heard their life stories i cried...especially yuris
definetly all the main characters of D.Gray-Man! _Allen abandoned Von parents cause of his arm, adopted Von a man who loved him like a father untill he died and allen brought him back and he cursed allen, then allen's adopted Von kreuz the evilest general alive! -lenalee her parents where killed and she was tooken to the black order away from her brother untill she went crazy and she was brutally beaten for trying to escape and forced to fight -Kanda i dont want to give any spoilers but the whole thing of him and alma and the Sekunde exorcists -Lavi saw war his entire life and began to hate humans and the worst part is there all so adorible as kids!
Erza Scarlet from Fairy Tail At first she was a slave. When she finally had a shot at freedom, her best friend was possesed and insisted on staying. Then, he sent Erza back to shore, leaving her with the guilt of "betraying her friends." What a crappy childhood...
when i think about this Frage all i see in my head is Hotaru Tomoe oder sailor Saturn holy crap that was sad. first her mom dies. then she died in an accident in her fathers lab being a sience her dad trys to bring her back but to do so agres to get possessed turns evil brings her back but now trys to use her for evil. She sick all the time and has weird powers that are scary as fuck. Because of her powers and sick all the time she has no Friends and is picked on. her only friend is told not to see her as she is a threat to Reny. Her dad being possessed now dos not have time for her so he is never there but has a laky take care of her who is all so evil and forbids her to go out of the house. Also to oben, nach oben this all of she two others in her one being sailor saturn and the other being Mistress 9 both wanting control of her. sailor saturn wins the fight but then kills herself fighting the evil that her dad made.
Gaara all the way. He had a demon sealed inside of him, was hated and feared Von everyone, separated from his family, was told his mother hated him and his uncle (the only two people he thought loved him). Then he was forced to become an insomniac and constantly tormented Von a Shukaku. He was also killed for Shukaku. Luckily brought back to life and became a total sweat heart. Image is Von link

Tamaki Suoh's childhood might not be as rough as others but it still made me cry when I read about it. (Only some of this is mentioned in the anime, most is from the manga.) He was born as an illegitimate child and due to this his grandmother rarely let him see his father growing up. He was raised Von his mother in France but she was really sick so she couldn't spend much time with him. When he was 14 he got separated from his mother and sent to Japan to see his father but his grandmother didn't let him live in the same mansion as them because she didn't consider him as the heir of the Suoh family due to him being illegitimate. Luckily at the end of the Manga he is finally able to see his mother again and reunite his family together, which is really heartwarming and sweet <3
Isaac “Zack” Foster from Engel of Death, first of all his mum’s lover set him on feuer but he survived. Then his mother sent him to a horrible orphanage where kids tend to die and Zack had to bury them. The caretakers were abusive and forgot to look after him so he killed him. Finally the only person who showed any care to him (a blind old man) was murdered. So yeah i’d Say Zack had it pretty bad. He is a serial Killer so he’s got to have some sort of messed up childhood to turn him into a killer
