Is fishing considered hunting?

I think it really depends. Yeah, I understand that one is killing the animal for food, but there is Mehr abundance.
Unless Du are fishing endangered fisch oder fisch who's numbers have declined over time, it is not really a big issue.

I go fishing for sport myself,but we always let them go away unharmed.

fishing hurts the fish. what would Du do if someone pushed a needle through your upper lip? i think that is torture for them too. firstly they have a hole on their upper mouth Sekunde of all they are beaten to death after they are taken out of the water and third of all they are killed. in my view it is.

If your fishing for the meat than yes and If your fishing for endangered fisch than double yes! If your just fishing for the fun of the sport and letting them go after than No. So It all depends...

Gosh. I don't know. Catch and release is totally fine. If your fishing for food, and there is enough fish, totally not. If your fishing for survival, nope. If your fishing for fun, and then killing them, absolutely not.

i fisch a lot, but i always let the fisch go. ITs jsut a fun sport if Du let the fisch go. When Du dont and eat the fisch then i think that is considered hunting. I only did that once and it was there was a high population of this one fisch and it was wiping out all the others. so I hunted fisch for a good cause. Other than that i think fishing is just a fun sport if Du know what to do.

Fishing is hunting, but hunting is necessary for survival in the natural world. Well, at least it used to be. At least when Du hunt for food, Du play the predator and the prey has a chance to escape, like the case with a lion and a gazelle. But locking Tiere like pigs, cows, chickens etc in a slaughter house and giving them no chance to escape while they are killed for food? That is pure murder. So is fishing/hunting for sport.

Though...I'm the kind of person who has to eat meat oder my body might fail on me so it's sad that I still eat all that. I stay away from endangered meat though. I don't need to eat exotic stuff, I just need the meat. 0_0

fishing depends on what Du are doing if Du are there to catch and cook oder catch and kill then yes because Du are killing a animal, but catch and return is not because Du are NOT killing the animal there for it depends on what Du are there to do.
