How can I ever possibly be a vegetarian?

Well, I really want to be a vegetarian because I want to be a vet. So I don't really see the point in saving Tiere lives but eating them at the same time! The thing is that I am not a big Fan of curry's oder Chinese oder anything like that but then I don't like pizza really either. So, if I did become a vegetarian I don't know what I would eat!
Do Du have any suggestions...

I suggest still eating sleect meats and fisch but make a rule that Du won't eat it unless Du caught it yourself oder making sure Du only eat free-range naturally fed-animals. No abused Tiere locked up in cages oder brutally tortured for the sake of fast food, etc. only Tiere who are allowed to live full lives and enjoy themselves while they are here. That's what i'd do anyways. I need my meat...but I don't condone abuse of animals. although I do believe they were put here for our benefit....i don't believe in treating them badly.

Lentils and beans have the protein Du need so maybe try to make an accustomed curry so Du like it. Experiment with different flavours, good luck, I want to be one when I'm older so I'll probably have to go through the same thing. Good luck!

There are actually a lot of substitute-meat options around these days, such as Quorn, where it's made to have similar flavours, textures and purposes as meat, without obviously being made of the same stuff. Du might want to see what kind of meat substitutes are available in your area, but that's a good way to continue enjoying meals that are traditionally made with meat.

Another option is, if Du continue to eat meat, look into where it's coming from. Some farms treat Tiere better than others. Avoid factory farms, and be cautious of the ones that claim to be "free range" (because that doesn't necessarily mean that the Tiere actually ever go outside oder have enough room to walk around). See if Du can buy products from Mehr trustworthy sources whenever possible.

I'd definitely suggest having a look at the vegetarian options available locally though. Maybe think about the kinds of meals Du usually have, and see if Du can get a vegetarian version. Du might be pleasantly surprised with what Du find.

Are Du including fisch in this? That might broaden oder narrow your options depending on your choice. Du can also still loads of your favourite meals - they just have to be adapted a bit.

Here's a link to a website which has listed some of the best vegetarian cookbooks. I hope Du find it useful!

I'm a vegetarian, my Mom, Dad, and two sisters are vegetarians, our Hunde are vegetarians, and we are all healthy. We don't get any shots, neither do the dogs. We have never went to the doctor because we were sick. We get checkups and they always are surprised with our health. And I have tons of energy. We don't eat much Chinese food, but we do eat a lot of noodles, bread, potatoes and vegetables. Being a vegetarian is wonderful. And if Du do decide to become one, Du will not regret it. And the Tiere will be grateful.

Are dachshunds natural? Are most dog breeds natural? No. So we should feed them what is best, even if it is not natural. And they are very healthy. As for people, eat lots of beans. They are full of protein. No one I know has ever had problems because they were lacking something.

i suggest Du don't...I wanna be a vet to, in fact I'm in Small Animal Care...however vegetarians live an average of 2-5 years less then people who eat a balanced diet with proteins.
I understand your logic, but let's not forget health...after a while of vegetarian diet your system will even reject meat and marrow broth...I've seen it...it was sorda sad...
plus it can cause other issues. lacking protein can cause hair loss, attention deficit, fatigue, irritability and lethargy. I may also cause loss of muscle mass, generalized swelling, decreased immunity, and weakened cardiovascular and respiratory system. this can be in Tiere that are suppose to consume meat and in people.

I don't know how to become a vegetarian.
But I do know is that meat have all the essential amino acids but vegetables don't. This means Du HAVE TO plan ahead and eat as much variety as possible to cover your amino acids needs. Please look into that before becoming a vegetarian.
