I closed my eyes... It was hard to think back to those times

“Our leaders say it started many years Vor oder at least they did back when we had leaders. The humans came to our territory and they killed without discretion and without remorse. Nothing was safe, sicher but our pack managed to stick through it and survive. That was until, until....”

(FLASHBACK)
“Brother, Brother wake up!”

“arggghhhh what is Shane?”

“Zachary the head Alpha wants to speak with you.”

My eyes shot open.

“Arceus? What does he want with me?!”

“ I don't know but it seemed pretty important.”

“What about you?”

“Father and I are going somewhere.”

“I wonder where they are always going?” I thought to myself

“OK I'll go see him”

I went out of the höhle, den and up the hügel to the Head Alpha's den. I pondered on what Arceus wanted. Whatever it was it couldn't be good. As I almost got to the oben, nach oben I saw Arceus staring down at me with his cold Grey eyes.

“Sir Du called for me?”

“Yes its about your father and brother. We think that he is training your brother to fight like an Alpha. The humans may be trying to destroy us but that does not mean we should destroy our laws in the process.”

“Why would I know anything about this?”

“He is your father and we assume Du to know what he is up to.”

“I know nothing of what he does. If he does not tell me then it is not my business.”

Out of the corner of my eye I saw Foljek walk up.

“Sir I hate to interrupt but I need to borrow the Omega. He is the only one who knows the human territory well enough to avoid the humans.”

This was a lie. My father and Foljek had shown my brother and I everything we needed to survive in the human territory he didn't need my help. He must have wanted something else so I sagte nothing.

“Fine take him but don't think this is over Zachary.”

I turned and followed the old wolf down the hill. He didn't say anything as we walked down the hügel as we got to the bottom I decided to break the silence.

“I could have dealt with them myself Foljek. I could have-”

Foljek turned around faster than any wolf I have ever seen and he took me to the ground.

“No! Du could not have done a thing! He would kill without hesitation if he thought Du had Alpha training. Your father told me to protect Du and I wasn't going to see Du killed Von a rumor.”

“Is it true?”

“I don't even know. Perhaps Du can ask him when we get to him”

With that he went silent and let me up. He took me away from the hügel and into the woods. After a little while of walking through the woods we got to a clearing where father and Shane were standing.

“Now that Du are here I need to tell Du what Foljek and I have been preparing Du two for. Do Du two remember that place your mother sagte she was from.”

“Yes Jasper Park.” We sagte in unison

“You are both leaving for Jasper tomorrow morning. There Du will both be protected.”

“What about Du and Foljek?” I said

“Arceus has angered the humans and they are at this very Minute preparing to come up here and wipe us out. I do not wish Du to share this fate so Du must go. Foljek and I will stay here and fight until the very end.”
