help swallowing pills after childhood trauma?

so i, like a some others, am unable to schlucken pills no matter what i try. i'm aware that it's a lot of physiological issues going on. i had a past incident where i choked on a piece of pizza and freaked out because i was Home alone and when i went into the bathroom my face was changing colors, but i managed to cough it up. mind Du i was 8/9 at the time so it really freaked me out. so badly i hid the fact that i wasnt eating for months until it was obvious because i'd dropped 50pounds and only weighed 45pounds. at this point my mom forced me to take therapy where it took me 5-7 months to even get me to eat things like mashed potatoes and yogurt. and about three Mehr months to eat solid foods and overcome that fear. I seriously survived for a Jahr on pediasure. so i need suggestions to maybe make it easier oder would it be better t just go back to therapy to try and solve this?

I have problems swallowing pills too. I like to crush them up in a pestle and mortar and add them to saft oder water. Du can also go to your doctors and ask if any of the medication Du require can be in liquid oder injection form. For over the counter medication such as penicillin etc, they do have liquid form but it costs Mehr then solid form and that's why i crush them.

Another method, which i DON'T advise Du do without exhausting other methods and talking to Du doctor first, is with medications that come in tablets that teilt, split in the middle, to "snort" the powder that comes out of it up your nose.
