The movie was a lot worse then the books so I didn't enjoy it.

Even though the movie didn't meet up to the books I liked it. It was entertaining so I felt it did its purpose. But it was no where near as good as the books.

There was far, far too much changed

It was pretty sad that after I finished the movie, I realized that my favorite part was the credits.

To be honest, I really didn't give it a chance. I got the DVD awhile ago and I watched the first 15 minutes of it and I didn't really feel like watching the rest? My opinion is skewed though since I generally do not like movies.

It's a shame too, because the book are pretty good.

I do like the movie - but I know the books were WAY better! and that the movie messed it up soo much. But I still liked it ;)

The movie was terrible, compared to the books. It would have been better if they hadn't tried to squish three books into one movie. And I don't think they were real faithful to the books. I will say, I did like the actors they picked to play the Baudelaires.

I love the movie. Not as much as the books of course, but I still adore it!

As a stand alone movie, I quite enjoyed it! It wasn't a wonderful adaption, but I enjoyed myself while watching the movie, so yes, I did like it.

Personally, I really enjoyed the movie. The actors did a really great job, Jim Carrey did a pretty good job playing Count Olaf, but he didn't nail it 100%, and that's what got me to read the books.

It didn't really fallow the books, but I think the actors really did a great job as their characters, and I LOVED Jim Carry as Olaf, and also Emily Browning s Violet, I thought they all did a wonderful job over all :)
