The hooded fugitive continued running right up to the vicinity of Westminster. As she looked back at one side, she saw the police still chasing after her. When she looked at the other, there were the foursome and the Beatles on the chase as well. John exclaimed, "There she is!". This caused the fugitive to scream in horror. She tried to run away again, but Timothy put a stop to her Von pulling her long jacket, which made her trip and fall. Eventually, the overloaded bag that she had been carrying ripped open, and out came the stolen pounds, some of the universität staff's possessions, and of course, Rosie's and Nicholas' instruments. And the fugitive turned out to be Veronica herself! She shuddered as the foursome, the Beatles, and the police stared at her with arms crossed and angry expressions. George said, "Well, what do Du have to say for yourself, thief?" Veronica stammered, "I...um...erm..." After a few minutes, one of the officers said, "You are under arrest for petty theft. Du will be sentenced for a hundred years in jail." He then turned to the Beatles and the teenagers and told them, "As for all of you, Du will be rewarded three thousand pounds as a thank Du for helping us." Rosie replied, "Oh, that's really nice, sir!" Nicholas added, "We're glad to have helped you." "Indeed!" sagte Paul. And with that, Veronica was handcuffed and taken away to New Scotland Yard. The foursome and the Beatles then returned the stolen pounds to the bank, and they placed the universität possessions with the items that they bought from Harrods. Rosie and Nicholas held their instruments as the group walked back to the hotel. "I'm so glad to have our instruments back." sagte Rosie. "I am, too, love." Replied Nicholas. "And Du can play them in our concert!" Added Ringo. Rosie said, "Yes, definitely!" "Great! We will start practicing for Saturday's konzert tomorrow morning, so it's best for Du to sleep early when we return." sagte George. "All right!" Replied Rosie.
