5 Seconds of Summer have topped the Billboard 200 with their new album

The Aussie group have also set a new record with their chart-topping achievement, becoming the first band ever to debut in the top spot with their first two albums.

The collection achieved 192,000 equivalent album units over the past week, with 179,000 of that total being pure album sales.

The record stands as 5SOS are rightly considered a fully-fledged band (who play instruments) rather than a vocal group.

Country star Carrie Underwood charts at number two, as

All five of her albums have made the top two, and Underwood becomes the only country artist to achieve this feat.

, and Fetty Wap\'s self-titled release is at four. Blake Shelton\'s

Further down, Andrea Bocelli is at 10 with his new album

, which features collaborations with Ariana Grande and Nicole Scherzinger.

5 Seconds of Summer also romped to the top of the UK albums chart last week, outselling their nearest rival by more than two copies to one.
